A Bat and The Fox

One evening, a bat went out to hunt for food even though he was not well. As he flew after some insect, he felt dizzy and fell to the ground in a field.

Before he could get up, a fox pounced on him “ Please, Mr. Fox ,” the bat pleaded,”Please let me go!”. The fox just laughed, “Certaintly not ! I’am a great hunter of birds”.

Thingking quickly, the bat replied, “ Oh..,but I’am not a bird, I’am a mouse. Look clousely at my face. Don’t I look like a mouse?”. The fox agree and let him go.

A short time letter, the bat fell to the ground again and was caught by a second fox. Once again he had to plead, for his life. “ Why shouldn’t I kill you? I hunt mice!” Exclaimed the fox. ”Oh..But I’am not a mouse but I’am a bat,”He answerd,”. “Have you ever a mouse with wings?” He asked, spreading his wings for the fox to see. The fox was conuinced and set him free.

Seekor kelelawar dan Serigala

Pada suatu malam, seekor kelelawar pergi berburu untuk mencari makan sekalipun ia sedang tidak sehat. Sambil ia terbang setelah makan beberapa serangga, dia merasa pusing dan jatuh ke tanah di ladang.

Setelah dia dapat bangun seekor srigala menerkamnya. “Tolong,tuan serigala,”kata kelelawar,”Tolong biarkan aku pergi”. Serigala hanya tertawa,”tentu tidak!Saya adalah pemburu burung!”.

Dengan berfikir cepat, kelelawar menjawab,”Oh...tetapi aku bukan burung,aku adalah tikus. Lihat baik-baik mukaku. Tidakkah aku terlihat seperti tikus?”. Serigala menyetujui dan menyuruhnya pergi.

Setelah beberapa saat, kelelawar jatuh ke tanah lagi dan tertangkap untuk kedua kalinya oleh serigala. Sekali lagi dia memohon untuk hidupnya. “Kenapa aku tidak akan membunuhmu? Aku memburu tikus!”Seru Serigala. “Oh...tetapi aku bukanlah tikus tetapi Aku adalah kelelawar,”jawab kelelawar. “Apakah kamu pernah melihat tikus dengan sayap?”. Tanya kelelawar sambil mengepakkan sayapnya agar Serigala dapat melihatnya. Serigala mempercayainya dan membebaskannya.
