31 September 2010 – 2 October 2010, the Catholic Prayer Group (PDK) SMA 2 KLATEN held a Retreat or deepening of faith in Pakem, Kaliurang, precisely at the Omah Jawi, Kaliurang. We were asked to gather at SMA 2 KLATEN at 02:00 pm and departed at 03:00 pm by bus. Trip to the Omah Jawi takes 1 hour. When we got there, we immediately take a bath. In the afternoon we made groups and created slogans, and discussed the role of a Catholic teenager in the surrounding environment. At night, after all the Retreat activity were completed, we gathered to burn corns and enjoy a chill night air. Night was about 2 o'clock we were just sleeping.
On the next day or second day, we followed the outbound Retreat that held by the committee. Outbond held from morning till evening. While outbound, we can learn how to deepen cooperation among the members of the group. We also can enjoyed the natural beauty of Kaliurang who we can not find in the city. At night, we have carried out reflection night outdoors. Muse night finished at 11.30 pm. After that we were welcome to go back to our rooms and go slept.
Next day on 2 October 2010 or the last day for retreat, we were awakened by a committee Retreat to walked together. As we walked, we saw a very beautiful scenery. Leafy trees stand firmly on the edge of the road. Morning air in Kaliurang who very fresh, unlike the urban air. Dews clinging to the leaves, looks very beautiful. There we had time to take some photos. After take some photos, we also continue the journey to return to the Omah Jawi. Arriving at the Omah Jawi, our teacher who be a coach in the Retreat told us to eat. After breakfast, we gathered for the next activity that ended at 12:00 pm. Then we pack and ready to go back to Klaten. We went back to klaten at 14:00 pm with the same bus. We are a group of up to 2 hours in high school 15:00 pm. This Retreat tiring but we enjoyed it very much.

Tanggal 31 september 2010 – 2 oktober 2010 lalu, Persekutuan Doa Katolik (PDK) SMA 2 KLATEN mengadakan Retret atau pendalaman iman yang bertempat di Kaliurang, tepatnya di Omah Jawi, Kaliurang. Kami diminta untuk berkumpul di SMA 2 KLATEN pukul 14:00 WIB dan berangkat pukul 15:00 WIB dengan naik bis. Perjalanan ke Omah Jawi memakan waktu 1 jam. Sesampainya disana, kami langsung mandi. Sore harinya kami membentuk kelompok lalu membuat yel – yel dan berdiskusi tentang peran seorang remaja katolik di lingkungan sekitar. Di malam hari, saat segala kegiatan Retret telah selesai, kami beramai – ramai membakar jagung di luar sambil menikmati dinginnya udara malam itu. Kira – kira pukul 02.00 WIB, kami kembali ke kamar untuk tidur.
Di hari berikutnya atau di hari kedua, kami mengikuti outbond yang diselenggarakan oleh panitia Retret. Outbond tersebut dilaksakan dari pagi sampai sore hari. Saat outbond, kami dapat belajar bagaimana cara untuk mempererat kerjasama antar anggota kelompok. Selagi outbond, kami juga bisa menikmati keindahan alam Kaliurang yang tidak bisa kami temukan di kota. Malam harinya kami ada renungan malam yang dilaksanakan di luar ruangan. Renungan malam tersebut selesai pukul 11.30 WIB . Setelah itu kami dipersilahkan untuk kembali ke kamar dan tidur.
Keesokan harinya, kami dibangunkan oleh panitia Retret untuk jalan - jalan. Saat kami berjalan – jalan, kami melihat pemandangan yang sangat indah. Pohon – pohon yang rimbun berdiri kokoh di pinggir – pinggir jalan. Udara pagi di Kaliurang sangat segar, berbeda dengan udara di perkotaan. Embun – embun menempel pada dedaunan, terlihat sangat indah. Disitu kami sempat mengambil beberapa foto. Setelah berfoto, kamipun melanjutkan perjalanan untuk kembali ke Omah Jawi. Sesampainya di Omah Jawi, guru – guru pembimbing menyuruh kami untuk langsung makan. Setelah makan pagi, kami berkumpul untuk kegiatan selanjutnya yang berakhir pada pukul 12:00 WIB. Lalu kami berkemas – kemas dan bersiap untuk kembali ke klaten. Kami pulang ke klaten pukul 14:00 WIB dengan naik bis yang sama. Kami serombongan sampai di SMA 2 KLATEN jam 15:00 WIB . Retret ini melelahkan tapi kami sangat menikmatinya.
